Stronger seniors classes are aimed for the over 60's in which gentle strength, mobility and balance exercises are encouraged. Get ready for a little bit of challenge!

The classes are run by Belinda and Daphne, our highly qualified physiotherapists who ensures that all exercises are tailored for the person's needs regardless of current conditions/injuries. We aim to run our classes in a relaxed, safe, friendly and fun environment. You are all invited to share your stories and experiences, while you can listen to useful tips and facts about safer movements during daily activities.

 

How can Stronger Senior’s classes help?

  • Improve posture, balance and co-ordination to assist prevention of falls

  • Improve strength and muscle balance to assist with function of everyday activities like gardening, walking, shopping, playing with the grandkids

  • Prevent and manage chronic conditions like arthritis, osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease

CLASSES

Classes are casual drop-in classes and are run in small groups

Tues 11am - falls prevention circuit class with more emphasis on standing stability

Thurs 11am- traditional seated exercises for balance, strength and stability

PRICE

Classes are $20 for 45 mins are are claimable via health funds (code T560- group physiotherapy consultation)
